PRIVACY
How we look after your information.
Last updated: SEPTEMBER 2026
This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you use the Avenue website or register your interest, why we collect it, and how we care for it. You can read the whole thing, or skip to what you need.
Avenue is a Specialist Disability Accommodation development at 2 Avenue Road, Stirling SA, operated by Stirling Family Church Property Ltd (ABN 34 688 390 687), the "we", "us" and "our" on this page. We handle your information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
Your name, and who is filling in the form: you, a family member, or a support coordinator.
Your contact details: an email address, and a phone number if you give us one.
What you choose to tell us about your situation and needs, including whether you have SDA funding in your NDIS plan, the kind of home that would suit you, and any notes you add.
Any questions you ask us.
Some of this is sensitive information, for example information about disability or health. We only collect it with your consent, and only what helps with Avenue. You can skip any question you'd rather not answer.
How we collect it
Directly from you, through the website form or guided assistant, or when you email us.
From someone acting for you: a family member or support coordinator may complete the form for you, with your consent.
Why we collect it
To respond to your expression of interest.
To keep you informed about Avenue.
To understand who these homes should suit.
We don't use your information for anything else, and we never sell or trade it.
Who can see it
Only the small Avenue team.
We use trusted service providers to run the website and send email on our behalf (for example, our website host and our email service). They handle your information only to provide those services, and are required to keep it confidential.
Some of these providers may store or process information outside Australia (for example, in the United States). Where they do, we take reasonable steps to see that your information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
We won't share your information with anyone else unless you ask us to, or we're required to by law.
How we store and protect it
We store your information securely and limit who can access it.
We take reasonable steps to protect it from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so we can't promise absolute security, but we treat your information with care.
